Call for Applications – BEBESEA X New Naratif Story Fellowship 2024 is launched!: We invite aspiring storytellers of migrant communities and in/from Southeast and East Asia, individually or collectively, to pitch your original works to witness and raise awareness of experiences of migration.Successful stories will be published by New Naratif and BEBESEA. For more information, kindly check BEBESEA Website. An information session is to be held on Monday, 17 June. The deadline for application is Sunday, 30 June 2024. Please share and spread the words!
Throughout June, works of 2023 story fellows will be published by New Naratif. To kick start, we proudly present “City of Gold”, a short film directed and produced by Eze. Stay tuned on this page for upcoming publications.

Short Film: “On Potok Na Eyenede (Our Land is Threatened)” by Bradley J. Pantajo, our Story Fellowship Alumni, has made it to the 10 short film projects selected for the 2024 CCCL Film Grants Program. Congratulations!
Conference: “Citizenship and Social Integration: Migration and Work-Family Challenges”, first Public Sociology Association Thailand (PSAT)’s International Conference: Inequality and Social Justice Sensitivity, will be held on 7 June 2024. Read more here.
Films Screening: A film screening event “Myanmar Film Tour 2024”will be held at Migrant Worker Support Center in Chiang Rai on 13 June 2024. This event is part of Myanmar Film Tour 2024 happening in six cities in Thailand.
Symposium: A hybrid symposium on diversity of education for a multicultural society will be hosted by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and will be held in Tokyo and online. This event will be in Japanese language only. More information and registration is available here.
