Publication: “Refugee Protection in Japan and Taiwan: Common Challenges and Ways Forward for Human Security”, a chapter written in collaboration between BEBESEA, SEEAC, and WBI has been published through the publication “Refugees and asylum seekers in East Asia: Perspectives from Japan and Taiwan” in commemoration of World Refugee Day.

- “Thailand: Next Door Frenemy to Myanmar?” (Tea Circle Myanmar), An opinion article written by our Story Fellowship Alumni, Minn Myoh Minn Oo, has been published.
- “Why do migrant workers pay thousands of dollars to work in Singapore?” (Channel News Asia), an article contributed by HOME Singapore highlighting high recruitment fees and deceptive recruitment practices that is still the pressing issues for many migrant workers in Singapore.
News: National Human Rights Commission of Taiwan shared to continue the implementation of its commitment in the protection of fishery workers in Taiwan through the meeting with Taiwan CSOs including Global Labour Justice and FOSPI. Read more here (in Taiwanese Language only).
Photo Exhibition: An exhibition called “NOT JUST LABOR; MIGRANT PHOTO VOICES FROM THAILAND’S FISHERIES” held on 14-26 May, 2024. The exhibition showcased pictures shot with mobile phones by migrant workers from Cambodia and Myanmar, who are currently employed in the fishing and seafood packaging industry in the south of Thailand.
